3 Days in Marrakech: The Perfect Itinerary Including a Desert Excursion

Day 1 — Arrive and Discover the Medina

Arrive in the afternoon and head straight to Jemaa el-Fna, Marrakech's legendary central square, in the early evening when the snake charmers, storytellers, and food stalls are in full swing. Walk north through the souks — the leather district, the spice souks, the lamp-makers' quarter — getting deliberately lost and trusting your instincts to find your way back.
